OSLAD Grants Will Support Park and Recreation Projects in 28 Counties
Last Saturday Trustee Poskin and I were present in
Oak Park at the Governor’s announcement of $26 million in investments for 75
local projects across Illinois.
Sauk Village was selected for a $205,000
grant to renovate Arrow Park through the Open Space Lands Acquisition and
Development (OSLAD) Program.
OSLAD is a state-financed grant program that provides funding assistance to
local government agencies for acquisition and/or development of land for public
parks and open space.
I would like to personally thank all those that helped
make this grant possible.
