Over the past 4 weeks, the Fire Department responded
to 32 calls. The fire department responded to:
- 6 - VEHICLE ACCIDENT (10-50)
- 4 - LIFT ASSIST
- 2 - GAS LEAKS
- 1 - AUTO AID
- 8 - AUTOMATIC FIRE ALARM
- 5 - CO ALARM
- 1 - STOVE FIRE
- 2 - SMOKE ALARM
- 1 - SMELL OF GAS
- 1 - ASSIST OF OTHER AGENCY
- 1 - SMOKE ALARM
- 1 - SMOKE INVESTIGATION
- 1 - CHANGE OF QUARTERS
- 1 - DOWN POWER LINE
- 1 - TREE DOWN

With
the cold weather upon us make sure to check on the elderly and your neighbors.
When the weather is very cold outside, let the cold water drip from the faucet
served by exposed pipes. Running water through the pipe - even at a trickle -
helps prevent pipes from freezing and keep the thermostat set to the same
temperature both during the day and at night. Have a safe, wonderful, and Merry
Christmas.
