2016 Leaf Sweep Program

Public Works offers a leaf collection program at no cost to you which will allow you to dispose of your leaves.

The leaf pickup program will begin November 7 through 11, skipping the week of the 14th through 18th, residents can still put leaves out up until November 20. Our final pickup will begin November 21, crews will be out to pick up each section on garbage day.  THEY WILL NOT COME BACK AFTER THIS PASS.

Village Ordinance prohibits parking on the streets between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. during the day of your garbage pickup. 

All leaves must be out for the final pickup no later than November 20th there are no exceptions.   

In order for this program to be successful, we are asking all residents to follow the guidelines that are listed below.

Beginning

1. November 6th, you may start raking leaves over the curb onto the street.  DO NOT LEAVE THEM ON THE PARKWAY. Only leaves that are on the street will be swept and picked up.
2. During these scheduled sweeping/ pick-ups we are asking all residents NOT to park on the streets Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Vehicles parked on the street greatly reduce the success of the program.
3. After November 30th any leaves must be bagged using the brown yard waste bags with the yard waste stickers. These will be picked up on the day of your garbage pick-up. You must follow these instructions in order to avoid a fine.
