During the last quarter of 2015 Trustee Tates along with committee member Ed Sullivan presented a program called “Adopt A Rose".
Ed Sullivan presented the program for the committee that would allow individuals to purchase roses from the committee which, would in turn be planted and maintained around the Veteran's Memorial.
The plan presented also provided the village board with a drawing that called for a total of 42 roses bushes to be planted, (15 plants on each side of the bricks and 6 in each of the main areas) with individuals who adopt rosebushes responsible and expected to care for their adopted rose bush.
