After receiving a complaint at Tuesday's (November 03, 2015) Village board meeting that the fire hydrants in Candlelight did not work I went to Candlelight along with Trustee Myers and Fire Department personnel to follow up on the complaint.
Multiple hydrants surronding the area where the resident lived were checked and the good news is every hydrant checked was in working order however, there were maintenance issues that Trustee Myers will be working with the staff at Candlelight to resolve.
Trustee Myers and Fire Department personnel will check the
remainder of the hydrants located in Candlelight over the next week.
