: STREET LIGHTS - 235 new heads installed. S.t, Torrence Ave, north side and east side completed. Working on south side and outskirts. Complaint calls are being gathered, mostly power issues.
: DAY TO DAY REGULAR OPERATIONS AND EMERGINCIES - All job direction changes, dept. ordering ,special event prep setup, vender calling work with all departments and public complaints.
: BUILDINGS – Putting together cost EST for repairs to C.C building P.D. building and Water/ESDA garage. Examples: windows doors roof work and oldest Hvac unit. Building replacement to name a few.
: POTHOLES/Asphalt – Work started in Oct crews ran through the east side, south side, Carlisle Est, Deer Creek, and Sauk Point Dr, will be back out after the leaf pickup. Please call if you notice any holes that might have been missed.
: WATER - Day to day schedules & EME CALLS .Extra personal help to complete the north side shut off list, a call back list, a vac list, squatter list, no occupancy list. Personal also working on the dig /jet list for high unpaid bills.
: GARBAGE – Day to day cleanup. IF YOU SEE ILLIGAL DUMPING PLEASE CALL POLICE, HELP KEEP OUR TOWN CLEAN.
: GRASS CUTTING - Village owned locations, final cuts were made. All re/detention ponds were cut. Last locations are open spaces, cut for safety reasons. Lincoln Lansing Drainage Ditch is being cleaned up and cut back with the help of swap group, final cut to follow.
: STREET SWEEPER – November sweep will start after the completion of the leaf program pickup. All pile must be removed the sweeper will not pickup. Tickets may be issued.
: HYDRANT REPAIRS/REPLACEMENT- Hydrant work 2522 Orion on going because the valve broke. 1839 223st and 2707 Sauk Trail are called in .working with vender with specialty tools.
: TREE REMOVALS – At this time ash trees will be removed on a call in complaint and will be evaluation to make safe. Winter tree removals will follow.
: BRANCH PICKUP – Fall pickup is completed. All special pickups will be announced. Any piles left out may receive tickets. No branches on leaf piles they will be left.
: VEHICELS/ EQU- P.W. TR #1, 2, 3,4,5,6. Putting plows and salt hoppers on testing and adjusting for best usage of salt for safety and working toward new mandates. Prepping 2- 4x4 pickups for plowing parking lots courts and tight locations. ON GOING
: MAIN WATER VALVES – Started marking locations for main valve EZ inserts. This is to isolate areas for future upgrade like new valves, hydrants and new main installation. This is vital for all water department upgrades and will save on labor hours and water loss. 1 EZ valve insert was installed at 21948 Jeffery so we can repair 2 other valves. NEXT VALVE INSERT WILL BE ON THE SOUTH SIDE to complete work on the hydrant located 2522 Orion.
: LEAF PICKUP- Pickup starts Nov 9 all leaf debris must be raked down to the curb by Nov 22 to be picked. Resident are required to remove any piles that were put out after completion of program, or tickets will be
