41ST ANNUAL STUDENT GOVERNMENT DAY



ATTENTION- ALL  SAUK  VILLAGE  8TH GRADERS


 The Sauk Village Public Relations Committee is looking for 8th grade students that would like to participate in Student Government Day.



Traditionally, 8th graders are asked to participate in an essay contest. Student Government Day essay winners will tour the village facilities, meet village staff and represent our Mayor, Clerk, Trustees, Department Heads, etc… during an upcoming board meeting (date and time to be determined).
This year’s essay topic is, “Who is the most influential person in your life and why?” Essays should not exceed 250 words in length.



Essays may be turned in to the Village Hall Monday- Friday from 8am- 5pm. Please do not put your name and address on the essay. Use a separate sheet of paper to list your contact information. All essays will be numbered by someone not on the judging staff.



Please submit all essays by 5pm Friday April 1, 2016.
