The South Suburban Mayors & Managers Association
is working in partnership with the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus and Community
Investment Corporation to hold a one-day summit for south suburban landlords at
South Suburban College (15800 South State Street, South Holland, IL 60473) on Tuesday,
June 7, 2016 from 8:30am to 3:00pm.
This free event will feature presentations
on the topics of property management, financing and energy efficiency resources
to promote affordability and bottom line improvements to property operations
and legal issues such as handling evictions and complying with fair housing
laws.
The goal is to offer informational resources to landlords and
foster better relationships between municipalities and property owners.
